Izum se nanaša na postopek in napravo za izdelavo primerne strukture površine v postopku površinske obdelave lesenih talnih oblog s ciljem doseči nepopolno ravninsko površino z dvignjenimi in/ali vdolbenimi točkami, ki so razporejene v skladu z običajnimi vzorci ali nepravilno in naključno, ki posnemajo videz ročne in/ali grobe obdelave kar daje rustikalni učinek površine in kot da je že dolgo časa v uporabi. Postopek in naprava po izumu omogoča, da se ravninski površini na robovih dveh elementov vedno ujameta z enakim vzorcem bodisi gre za dvignjene in/ali vdolbene točke s čimer se preprečuje nastanek neravnih in ostrih stičnih robov med dvema elementoma lesene talne obloge.
