Sestav in postopek izdelave za zaznavanje enkratne ali večkratne spremembe visoke temperature in njegova uporabaComposition and manufacturing process for detecting and applying high temperature single or multiple changes in temperature
The subject of the invention is a high-temperature indicator or. a composition for indicating a single or multiple change in high temperature, where a simple visual change in color indicates that a predetermined temperature limit has been reached or exceeded. High temperature means any temperature above room temperature but below the flash point of the substances involved. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing a high-temperature indicator, the advantage of which is a lower cost of manufacture and a better adhesion of the indicator material or material. indicator colors to a suitable substrate and use of this invention.
Hkrati predmet izuma združuje uporabnost indikatorja za prvotno enkratno (ireverzibilno) indiciranjo spremembe temperature in nadaljno večkratno (reverzibilno) uporabo oz. večkratno zaznavanje vnaprej določene mejne temperature.A technical problem solved by the invention is the simple composition of the high-temperature indicator and the cheaper mass production of the indicator by printing technology. At the same time, the object of the invention combines the usefulness of the indicator for the initial single (irreversible) indication of temperature changes and the subsequent multiple (reversible) use or. multiple detection of a predetermined limit temperature.
Obstajajo druge znane rešitve kot so patent US 2013008156 (2013) (Intelligent temperature indicator label and method), kjer sestava indikatorja sloni na kemijski reakciji in je bolj zapletena; US 6786638 BI (2000, Cordis Corporation) (In-situ standard for temperature indicating labels), kjer je na absorpcijskem sloju nanesen vzorec in ireverzibilno spremenljiv material, ki se pod vplivom temperature oz. toplote vpije v spodnji absorpcijski sloj. Poleg teh obstaja tudi rešitev kot je patent US 20090183669 Al (2009) (Temperature indicating label ·· ·· ··· arrangement and method), pri katerem sestav za indikacije spremembe temperature sestoji iz pametne tiskarske barve oz. enkapsuliranega termokromnega materiala.There are other known solutions, such as US patent 2013008156 (2013) (Intelligent temperature indicator label and method), where the composition of the indicator is based on a chemical reaction and is more complex; US 6786638 BI (2000, Cordis Corporation) (In-situ standard for temperature indicating labels), wherein a sample and irreversibly variable material is applied on the absorption layer, subject to temperature or absorbs heat into the lower absorption layer. In addition, there is a solution, such as US patent 20090183669 Al (2009) (Temperature indicating label arrangement and method), in which the composition for temperature change indications consists of a smart printing ink or. encapsulated thermochromic material.
The common solution of all patents is an indication of a single change in temperature with a simple visual change of a predetermined or exceeded set limit temperature. The problem that remains to be solved is, above all, how to make a high-temperature indicator with printing technology with existing, available, equipment based on simple and inexpensive composition, and meet the tolerance requirements of potential customers, while allowing the manufacture of an indicator where in the first case it could indicate a change in temperature once or in another case where you would indicate a change in temperature initially once and then the same indicator could be used to change the temperature several times. Tolerance requirements are a narrow temperature range and a simple color change that allows visible sight to the naked eye.
According to the invention, a partial solution is described in the patent SI 24433 A, which generally comprises a support layer, onto which a colored indicator layer is applied, to which the aggregate state changes at a certain temperature. In this case, the indication layer is applied or applied. done with a heated air gun with a pot above. The invention also encompasses an absorbent layer of absorbent material and a cover layer which is indivisibly connected and sealed to said support layer. The support layer and the cover layer are made of flexible polymeric material that is impermeable to liquids and the support layer may optionally be provided with an adhesive layer (e.g., self-adhesive carrier layer) on the underside. The development of such an indicator is technologically challenging and involves a large investment in the purchase of new equipment.
Inventivnost predlaganega sestava dodajata možnost uporabe dveh funkcij, v prvem primeru spremembo temperature indiciramo enkrat in v drugem primeru, kjer pa spremembo temperature indiciramo prvotno enkrat in nadalje isti indikator omogoča večkratno indikacijo spremembe temperature.The novelty and advantage of this invention is the similar composition of the indicator as in the patent SI 24433 A, but it has an improved manufacturing process with printing technology, which significantly reduces the cost of manufacturing the composition for indicating the change in temperature, which solves the problem of adhesion to the substrate, which is expected consequently, it reduces the amount of waste material, shortens the production time (fewer phases to the final product are required), and improves the process of control and assurance of successful operation or. indications of temperature reached or exceeded. The inventiveness of the proposed composition adds the possibility of using two functions, in the first case the change of temperature is indicated once and in the second case, where the change of temperature is indicated initially once and furthermore the same indicator allows repeated indication of the change in temperature.
············
In general, the invention of a high-temperature indicator consists of an absorption layer on which, on one side, a printing layer is applied, to which, at a certain temperature, the aggregate state and / or color of the indicator changes, and on the other, this absorption layer layer attached early cover layer. On the side of the absorption layer, on which the indicator layer is applied, a support layer is attached. The upper covering layer and the supporting layer are made of transparent polymeric flexible material with permanent adhesive. The carrier layer on the opposite side of the permanent adhesive can also be provided with a layer of adhesive and optionally made as (removable) self-adhesive.
Ko indikacijski sloj doseže določeno vnaprej izbrano temperaturo, indikatorski material spremeni agregatno stanje iz trdnega v tekoče, kar omogoča vpoj oz. migriranje materiala v absorpcijski sloj navzgor. Posledično to privede do vizualne spremembe barve absorpcijskega sloja oz. indikatorja. When the indicator layer reaches a predetermined temperature, the indicator material changes its state from solid to liquid, which allows absorption or absorption. migration of the material into the absorption layer upwards. As a result, this results in a visual change in the color of the absorption layer or indicators. This ensures a narrow temperature range of color variation, since the change in aggregate state is precisely determined and cannot be achieved at zero temperature and for a longer time. In the event that only a single color change is indicated, material colored with different additives may be used as indicator material. However, if a single temperature change is indicated first and the same indicator is further used for multiple visual indication of a temperature change, thermochromic material is used. At a certain characteristic temperature, the thermochromic material changes its state from solid to liquid, and at the same time changes its color from colored to colorless and vice versa. Such thermochromic material can be used as indicator material for the manufacture of an indicator, where a single (irreversible) indication of temperature change initially expires, and further the same indicator is used to repeatedly (reversibly) further indicate a change in that temperature.
Applying the coating layer with printing technology and existing equipment to the absorption layer solves the problem of better adhesion to the printing substrate (absorption layer) and consequently provides an adequate thickness of the indication layer, which is crucial for the optimum performance of the indicator itself. in this case, to indicate a pre-set or exceeded set temperature. Adequate thickness of the indicator layer enables migration or uptake of colored indicator material over the entire surface of the absorption layer.
Thus the change in color from the initial e.g. white in the cottage e.g. blue visible to the naked eye if the absorbent layer is white and the indicator base or active material is colored blue.

- v primeru prvotne ireverzibilne in nadaljne reverzibilne indikacije spremembe temperature pripravi indikatorsko tiskarsko barvo tako, daje aktivni material po svojih lastnostih termokromni material;- in the case of the initial irreversible and further reversible indication of the temperature change, prepare an indicator printing ink so that the active material is a thermochromic material by its properties;
- v drugem koraku se nanese na spodnjo stran absorpcijskega sloja s tiskom ali drugim tehnološkim postopkom indikacij ski sloj z uporabo indikatorske tiskarske barve ter se na zgornjo stran absorpcijskega sloja pritrdi zgornji pokrivni sloj;- in the second step, an overlay is applied to the underside of the absorption layer by the printing or other technological process of the indicative layer using an indicator printing ink, and the upper covering layer is affixed to the upper side of the absorption layer;
- v zadnjem koraku pritrdi nosilno plast na tisto stran absorpcijskega sloja, na katerem je nanešen s tiskom indikacijski sloj; nosilna plast je pritrjena s permanentnim lepilom polimerne transparentne folije tako, da je lepilo na celotni površini absorpcijskega sloja na katerem je indikacijski sloj ali po izbiri samo na mestu, kjer je absorpcijski sloj brez indikacijskega sloja; na drugi strani je nosilna plast lahko opremljena z lepilom, da postane indikator samolepilna, po izbiri, odstranljiva nalepka.- in the last step, attach the carrier layer to that side of the absorption layer on which the printing layer is affixed; the carrier layer is fixed by permanent adhesive of the polymer transparent film such that the adhesive is on the entire surface of the absorption layer on which the indication layer is, or optionally only where the absorption layer is without the indication layer; on the other hand, the carrier layer may be provided with an adhesive to make the indicator an adhesive, optionally, a removable label.

Figure 1 shows the composition of the indicator in cross-section, where below is the carrier layer 1, which can be permanently self-adhesive 1 or a non-adhesive layer can be applied with adhesive on both sides (1 'and 1) of the carrier layer. The carrier layer on page 1 contains permanent adhesive and, where necessary, removable or permanent adhesive on page potrebi. On the absorption layer 3, an indication layer 2 is visible from the bottom. The absorption layer 3 is sealed / glued to the carrier layer 1 at the point where no indication layer 2 is applied. As already mentioned, the indication layer 2 is available within a certain dimensional range. on the absorption layer 3 of FIG. 2 is illustrated with a circle showing an inactive indicator or. where a predetermined temperature limit has not yet been reached or exceeded. Next is the top cover layer 4, where the transparent polymeric material can be made as a permanent self-adhesive material, or the adhesive can be applied to the transparent polymeric material independently beforehand. The upper layer 4 is glued over the entire surface of the absorption layer 3 so that it is impermeable to liquids.
When the single (irreversible) indication assembly reaches or exceeds a predetermined temperature limit value, the indication layer 2 liquefies and migrates, respectively. is absorbed into the upper absorption layer 3, as shown in FIG. 3 in a circle with lines. Liquid Indication Layer 2 migrated or absorbed on the absorption layer. the absorption layer 3 was stained only in a limited corresponding range as also shown in FIG. 3 with a circle with lines.
When the single (irreversible) indication assembly reaches or exceeds a predetermined temperature limit value and this assembly is used for further multiple (reversible) indication of temperature change, the indication layer 2 liquefies, becomes colorless, migrates or. is absorbed into the upper layer 3, as shown in FIG. 3 in a circle with lines where, after reduced temperature, the thermochromic material solidifies and stains. For further multiple (reversible) color indication, however, it is a change in the aggregate state and color, without migration or. absorption into the absorption layer 3 in the area of FIG. 3 shown by a circle with lines.
