Abstract

The invention relates to street furniture, more precisely to a folding seat which is used as a limiting pillar on city streets or in buildings as well as a pedestrian zone bordering pillar, a seat, bench, waste bin or bicycle support. The essence of the folding city seat lies in that it is basically a limiting pillar which is anchored into the ground with its round lower part and that it is basically a hollow cylinder wearing a joint with the seat part at its upper part. The pillar can be applied in a pair as a bench support or it can be a garbage bin or a bicycle support. The mobility of the upper seat part is enabled by a hydraulic mechanism mounted within the interior part of the cylindrically shaped part of the pillar. The advantage of the folding city seat according to the invention is in that it combines the function of the limiting pillar and the temporary seat.
