Abstract
Description
Proti obrabi in mehanskim poškodbam odporna smučka in/ali snežna deskaWear and mechanical damage resistant ski and / or snowboard
The invention relates to the field of skis and / or snowboards, and in particular relates to the construction of the sliding surface, curbs and the choice of materials for the implementation of the sliding surface.
The invention is based on the problem of providing such resistance to mechanical damage and wear in a ski or snowboard in the area of the sliding surface / lining and curbs that such ski or snowboard will, among other things, be useful for a completely specific mode of skiing or skiing. surfing, ie. for so called. freestyle, which includes, inter alia, sliding a ski or snowboard along the edges of solid objects, e.g. artificial obstructions in the snow without causing excessive damage or excessive wear on the sliding surface or even breaking of the edges.
This problem has been identified at least in connection with snowboards already in US 2003/0189314 or. also in international patent application PCT / US03 / 09083 (WO 03/086554 Al), where it has been proposed to incorporate non-metallic curbs instead of conventional metal edges. In the case of freestyle surfing, the snowboarder descends a steep slope, but occasionally runs past or jumps over the various solid obstacles, at least occasionally driving or jumping on those obstacles, with, among other things, a snowboard. (or ski) for some time slides along the edge of this obstacle or. a solid object, e.g. wooden beams, boards, metal or non-metallic pipes, pipes or other. The edges of the snowboard are made of thermally treated steel and, as far as possible, to provide the sharpness necessary for driving on a solid snowy or frozen surface, and have a sharp edge as well. When such a curb hits a solid obstacle, or even glides over such an obstacle, it often breaks down the edge. Curb fringe can, on the one hand, significantly impair the running properties of a board or ski, but on the other hand, a broken, broken curb edge can also be very dangerous due to the possibility of touch damage. In order to avoid such injuries, which are practically unavoidable in such freestyle surfing or skiing, it was suggested in the aforementioned source to incorporate non-metallic curbs into the snowboard instead of metal (steel) curbs, thereby avoiding curb damage at the curbs.
In addition to the proposal under consideration, the applicant is also aware of at least one alternative to preventing curb damage when freestyle skiing or surfing, namely to circumvent the sharp edge of each curb slightly. In this way, even with a satisfactory handling of the snowboard or ski on a snow-covered base, it would certainly allow the curb to slide smoothly over a solid surface or the edge of a non-snow-covered metal or non-metallic object, but would certainly prevent the curb from collapsing. In practice, however, it can still occur on a snowboard or ski in the area of the gliding surface and curbs that could still be seriously damaged, even leading to the collapse of the curb. Analyzing and better understanding the loads and deformations in the area of the sliding surface when freestyle skiing or surfing has led to the realization that the loads on the sliding surface when sliding on a solid object are at least in the central area, namely in the area of attachment of the ties and ski / surf shoes, such that when sliding on an obstacle or getting down because of the weight of the skier or ski. descaling virtually inevitably leads to considerable deformation, namely, a sliding surface in the area, with both instantaneous / elastic deformations as well as permanent / plastic deformations and even permanent wear of the sliding surface in the area. After tilting the sliding lining that is in contact with the edge of each solid object, respectively. obstacles on the ski slope, for a certain period of time, the edge of the obstacle / object is slid along the sliding surface of the ski or ski slope. snowboards, followed by a heavy blow to the curb. Thus, on one hand, the sliding lining is increasingly exposed to wear and tear, and on the other hand, this eventually leads to tearing or at least loosening of the curb, practically irrespective of whether it is made of metal or non-metallic material.
The present invention is therefore concerned with wear-resistant and mechanical damage-resistant ski and / or snowboard, comprising, on its lower surface, a sliding lining which is located at the base of the respective core and facing along which the running edges are provided in the longitudinal direction , while on the opposite side, the surface of the ski or the ski is facing away from the base. snowboards in the central area between the front area and the rear area the installation of a suitable lanyard to connect the respective ski or snowboard boots to the ski or snowboard.
According to the invention, at least one substantially in the longitudinal direction of the ski or in the longitudinal direction of the ski is mounted in the region of the sliding lining between the curbs. snowboards are conductive reinforcing elements of metallic or non-metallic material, whose physical characteristics, in particular hardness and strength, are substantially higher than those of sliding lining and preferably at least approximately equal to those of curbs, wherein this reinforcing element comprises sliding or. a contact surface that is substantially aligned or at least substantially aligned. coplanas with the outer sliding surface of the sliding lining. It is usually sufficient if a single or composite reinforcing element is provided centrally arranged in a transverse ski direction, which may be incorporated either solely in the sliding lining or at least partially in at least one layer of the core. A single reinforcing element can be designed as a T profile or an H profile and consists of material identical to or similar to that of the curbs. In the most preferred embodiment, the composite reinforcement element may consist of two aligned but mutually facing angles which together form a contact surface which is at least substantially coplanar with the sliding surface of the sliding lining. In particular, it is advantageous if such a compound reinforcement element is made of angles, each of the angles being made in the same geometry, the same dimensions and the same material as the curb, the hardness of the material of the element or. in this case, the angles may be equal to or even greater than the hardness of the edges. It may further be provided according to the invention that the sliding liner in the area of mounting of the reinforcing element comprises an insert consisting of material which is at least in friction and / or friction. sliding coefficient and hardness equal to or similar to other sliding lining material.
V nadaljevanju bo izum konkretiziran še na osnovi nekaterih primerov izvedbe smučke, ki pa so smiselno vsekakor uporabljivi tudi pri snežni deski, in sicer v povezavi s priloženo skico, kjer kažejoIn the following, the invention will be concretized on the basis of some examples of ski construction, which in any case are also applicable to the snowboard, in conjunction with the attached sketch showing

In FIG. 1 shows a ski which identifies the central area 1, the front area 2 with a curved tip 21 and the tail 3. In the central area 1, a suitable (not shown) ski link is attached to the upper surface of the ski. the connection of the ski boots, also not shown, with the ski.
The ski consists of a sliding lining 4, along which the curbs 41, 42 extend along the ski direction, with said sliding lining 4 together with the curbs 41, 42 forming the lower surface of the ski, the so-called sliding surface. Above the sliding lining 4 and curbs 41, 42, a core 5 is provided, which in the example shown consists of a central layer or a layer. core 55, further from the lower laminated layer 54, which, in the example shown, is located directly above the sliding lining 4 and between the edges 41, 43, and further from the sides 51, 52 located at the center 55 and above the edges 41, 42, as also from the upper lining 53 extending through said core 55 and sides 51,52.
Pri tem omenjeni element 6 obsega drsno oz. kontaktno ploskev 60, kije vsaj v bistvu poravnana z zunanjo/drsno površino drsne obloge 4.According to the invention, it is in the central region 1, i.e. in the area of the attachment location of the open bond, between the curbs 41, 42 in the sliding liner 4 an additional reinforcement element 6 is incorporated. Said reinforcement element 6 may otherwise be made of metal or non-metallic material, and preferably of material whose physical properties, in particular e.g. the hardness and strength, at least substantially, correspond to those of curbs 41, 42. In this case, said element 6 comprises a sliding and / or sliding means. contact surface 60 at least substantially aligned with the outer / sliding surface of the sliding liner 4.
In FIG. 3 shows the design of the ski or the ski. suitable ski boards, in which in the central area 1 in the sliding lining 4 is mounted a reinforcing element 6, surrounded by an insert 44 consisting of material that at least approximately corresponds to the material of the sliding lining 4 or. they can be the same material, made in the same or different color.
In FIG. 4 shows a preferred embodiment of the reinforcement element 6, which consists of a pair of side-by-side angles 61, 62, from which the ski edges 41, 42 are also derived. In this case, the material of the angles 61, 62 is preferably at least as high-quality (hard / solid) as the material of the edges 41, 42. The sketch otherwise shows that said reinforcement element 6 is incorporated in the sliding cover 4 and also in the laminated layer 54 of the core 5, so that their upper arms 6Γ, 62 are in the area of said layer 54, which is not necessary in practice. The actual implementation of the ski or snowboard may be simpler if said laminated layer 54 of the core 5 is continuous and extends through the reinforcing element 6, in this case, through the upper arms 6Γ, 62 of the angles 61, 62, which together form a contact surface 60 , which is at least approximately aligned with the surface of the sliding liner 4.
In FIG. 6 shows a further example of a ski or a ski. a snowboard in which the reinforcement element 6 is constructed uniformly, as profile T, consisting of material whose physical properties are at least approximately those of curbs 41, 42, and further comprising contact surface 60 which is at least approximately in the plane of the outer / sliding surface of the sliding liner 4. In the drawing, the element 6 is embedded in a discontinuous layer 54 of the core 5, but in this case also the laminated layer 54 of the core 5 may optionally be continuous and extend through the element 6.
A further version of the ski or. the snowboards, more specifically the reinforcement element 6, is shown in FIG. 7. In this case, the element 6 is designed as a metal or non-metallic profile H whose physical properties are preferably at least approximately those of the edges 41, 42. The contact surface 60 of the element 6 is located at least approximately in the plane of the outer / sliding surface of the sliding liner 4. Also in the embodiment of FIG. 7, the reinforcement element 6 is embedded in a discontinuous core layer 54, but in this case also the laminated core layer 54 may optionally also be continuous and extend through the element 6.
