Abstract

An elastic footwear heel, also a special one such as orthopaedic brace or plaster cast, is carried out as a plate (1) shaped preferentially in the form of a wedge with one face (2) inclined and running parallel and quite close to the inner layer (3) of any kind of footwear (A) and with another, opposite lower face (4), which makes a part of the footwear sole (5). Between the faces (2 and 4) of the plate (1), there is a spring element (6) carried out as an elastic tape in the shape of the lying character V and a damping element (7) acting as a damper or shock absorber. Both elements (6 and 7) within the plate (1) are closed on their sides by a flexible lining (8) of any shape which protects the heel interior from moisture and dirt.
