Abstract
1. Video recorder having recording of a sound carrier (T), which is extracted alternately from a magnetic tape by two video heads (1, 2) having an overlap time, having a switch (6) which switches the sound channel conveying the sound carrier (T) between the two video heads (1, 2) during the overlap time (t1-t2, t3-t4), characterized in that the phase relationship between the sound carriers (T1, T2) conveyed to the inputs of the switch (6) during the overlap time (t1-t2, t3-t4) is so adjusted by a control magnitude (Us) that the two sound carriers (T1, T2) have substantially equal phase, at the switching instants (t5, t6).
