Abstract

Fruits and vegetable washing machine for home and restaurant cooking preparation The said invention is a semi-automatically washing machine for cleaning vegetables and fruits, as well as cutting long vegetables into regular length and shapes. It acts like a kitchen assistant. This invention is trying to provide one-stop solution for home and restaurant cooking preparation. It's an environmental friendly design to use less detergent. The machine has a box-like container with double hulls and two long chambers (Figure 1), a multi-function deck (Figure 3) as well as a cutting tool (Figure 2). The cleaning process includes water rinse by special shower nozzle (Figure 4), water soak and air bubbles cleaning, vibrating cleaning etc. The cleaning processes are controlled by manually set (through push buttons) and instrument system in the cover lid (Figure 2). The control system can be further developed into microprocessor program system. A flow chart (Figure 5) shows a program example of one wash process. Herewith the cutting process is a supplementary function, it can be either manually cut by the internal cutting tool or an optional choose. Chemical surfactants/detergents (i.e. vegetable, fruit wash liquid) inject operation through the tee pipe/tube. It mixes with inflow water naturally and applied into washing process. The said washing object such as leaves, vegetables, rhizomes, fruits etc need a pre- treatment process such as generally remove the big putrid leaves or useless parts before put into wash machine.
