Abstract
A BIOLOGICAL AND/OR CHEMICAL SAMPLE PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME A biological and/or chemical sample processing device comprising at least one sample processing chamber having at least one inlet at a first end and a penetrable base layer at a second end thereof, wherein the first end and the second end of the sample processing chamber are connected together by at least one collapsible wall and said penetrable base layer forms at least part of a wall of the sample processing chamber at the second end; and at least one first penetrable sealing layer arranged between the at least one inlet at the first end and the penetrable base layer at the second end, thereby forming an inner chamber bounded by the first penetrable sealing layer and at least the first end of the sample processing chamber, wherein said at least one penetrable base layer is adapted to seal of the second end of the at least one sample processing chamber until said penetrable base layer is penetrated to form an opening.
