Abstract

TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING CIRCUIT AND MODULATION CIRCUIT In radio wave reception, a first diode and a second diode are both brought into an OFF state to directly input received radio waves from an antenna to a demodulation circuit via a stripline. That is, the received radio waves can be input to the demodulation circuit without being attenuated. Further, in radio wave transmission, the first and second diodes are turned on or off to transmit reflected radio waves subjected to phase modulation. In this case, one of the first and second diodes is in the ON state. Accordingly, a modulation circuit can be cut off from the demodulation circuit.
