Abstract
AttorneyDocket #SG 32 A voyage planning support system with high flexibility and high extendibility is provided so as to be capable of flexibly addressing differences in characteristics of a ship or a cargo, and 5 also be capable of addressing modification or addition of a simulation method or addition of a factor for consideration in the future. The voyage planning support system includes: one or more exchangeable modules configured to execute predetermined calculation for each of factors for consideration in accordance with 10 attribute or characteristics of the ship by using the voyage plan or other information as input information, and output a calculation result, each of the factors for consideration being able to affect the voyage plan that includes main engine output distribution on a course of the ship; and a control unit configured to execute each 15 of the modules in a predetermined order, and cause each of the modules to output the calculation result relating to the voyage plan. The input information of the one or more modules executed by the control unit contains the calculation result outputted by execution of each of the one or more modules. 20 Fig. 1
