DATABASE STATE DETERMINING METHOD AND DEVICE, AND CONSISTENCY VERIFYING METHOD AND DEVICE The present application discloses a database state determining method, to 5 alleviate an existing-technology problem that a relatively large quantity of computing resources are consumed when a database state value is determined. The method includes: determining a state transition operation performed on a target database; and determining, based on the determined state transition operation and a state value that is of the target database and that exists before the state transition operation is 10 performed, a state value that is of the target database and that exists after the state transition operation is performed, where the state value is used to represent a state of the target database.
