Abstract

A contacting device (1) has a housing (3) in which a first contact element (4) is arranged. The first contact element (4) has a receiving chamber (30) 5 for a second contact element (7), which is open with respect to at least one opening (15, 23, 15', 23') of the housing (3). The first contact element (4) is displaceable relative to the housing (3) in a direction transverse to a central longitudinal axis (31) of the receiving chamber (30) against a spring element (5), so that the second contact element (7) is insertable into the 10 receiving chamber (20) and capable of being clamped in the receiving chamber (30) by means of the spring element (5). The first contact element (4) is firmly connected to at least one plug-in contact element (6).
