PCT - 81 - An ion generating device (1) includes discharge electrodes (21-22) each having a plurality of electrically conductive members (25-26) which form, respective tip 5 surfaces (36-37). A longer dimension direction of the tip surfaces (36*37) is nonparallel to an air sending direction (A). This allows for efficient release of ions.
