Abstract
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a means for managing vessel travel so that fuel consumption, during vessel travel, does not exceed a threshold value. Thus, a travel speed determination server device (12) determines a vessel speed, during vessel travel at predetermined time intervals, on the basis of travel log data received from a vessel terminal device (11), marine weather forecast data received from a marine weather forecast data distribution server device (13), and previously stored case data, so that the amount of fuel predicted to be consumed in traveling from the current location to the destination does not exceed an amount of fuel, which is obtained by subtracting the amount of fuel actually consumed in traveling from the start point of the vessel to the current location from the fuel consumption planned in advance for the entire travel. The target travel speed data indicating the vessel speed determined by the travel speed determination server device (12) is transmitted to the vessel terminal device (11). If the vessel travels at a vessel speed indicated by the target travel speed data, the fuel consumption actually used in the entire travel when the traveling is complete will not exceed the fuel consumption planned in advance.
