Abstract

BREAKWATER STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME A breakwater structure which is capable of preventing damage by a wave includes a supporting plate which is constructed undersea, a block layer including a plurality of unit 5 blocks which are stacked on the supporting plate, and an insert bar combined through the block layer in a vertical direction. The unit block includes upper and lower plates having rectangle or square shape and spaced apart each other in the vertical direction, a supporting part formed between the upper and lower plates and having a column shape which is perpendicular to the upper and lower plates, an insert hole formed at each of the upper and 10 lower plates in which the insert bar is inserted, wherein the insert holes of the upper and lower plates are corresponding to each other, and a combining groove formed at each of edge of the upper and lower plates.
