Abstract

CEILING FAN Provided is ceiling fan (1) equipped with brushless DC motor (10). 5 Ceiling fan (1) includes duty instruction unit (6) that instructs an ON/OFF duty in PWM control of a switching element, and motor current detector (14) that detects current flowing through drive coil (2) of the brushless DC motor. In ceiling fan (1), a duty instruction value is determined by duty instruction unit (6) based on a detection value of motor current detector (14).
