OF THE DISCLOSURE IC CARD AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING IC CARD 5 An integrated circuit (IC) card of an embodiment includes a communicator, a storage storing biometric authentication information, an acquirer, and a processor. The communicator communicates with a terminal device. The acquirer acquires biometric information of a user. The processor collates the biometric information of the user 10 acquired by the acquirer with the biometric authentication information stored in the storage and stores a collation result into the storage at an activation time.
