Abstract

The amount of fountain solution sprayed on a printing press roller (2) from a spray dampening apparatus (1) arranged at the roller may have to be controlled. For this purpose at screening plate (6) provided with openings is arranged between spray nozzles (5) in the spray dampening apparatus and the roller for preventing portions of the fountain solution from reaching the roller.
