Abstract

An anti-tank vehicle mine has a housing (2), with a launching device (3) for at least one sub-ammunition unit including a target seeking detonator. The mine has a sensor system and an electronic computer (15) connected with the sensor. The sensor system (8, 10) comprises only passive devices with acoustic sensors (8) positioned in an array and a seismic sensor (10), the signals from which are processed to classify the target and to determine motion. The signals being compared with stored data relating to targets to determine the optimum moment for launching the subammunition unit.
