Abstract

The safety device, operated using both hands, is fitted by taking off the spring casing for the valve and replacing it with the device. The valve is then activated by pushing a first lever (8) used for releasing the safety device, and then lifting a second lever (12) to the left. As the first lever is pushed higher, a volume of air is pressed against a piston (4), which drops to allow the second lever to be pushed to the left and activate the valve. One or two seconds later, the piston glides into a cylinder (6) to reactivate the safety device.
