Abstract

Process for welding a distance spacer (1) for longitudinal elements made up of crossing plate-like parts (3, 4) forming a lattice structure with cells (2) comprises producing at least two laser beams, and directing into corresponding cells bordering on a common cut line (14) and lying diagonally to each other. Both laser beams produce a corresponding weld join (16) of a part of the cut line. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for welding a distance spacer for longitudinal elements.
