Abstract

A device for connecting a diverter (3) to a conductor (2) for high voltage in order to transmit currents caused by over-voltages in the conductor (2) to the diverter (3), said device comprising means (6) for receiving at least one portion of the conductor, at least one electrically conducting means (7) for being electrically connected to the diverter and being located in contact with the conductor, at least one effect means (8), which is moveably arranged in relation to the electrically conducting means for affecting the conductor in order to obtain a sufficiently high contact pressure between the conductor and the electrically conducting means for transmission of said currents. The device also comprises means (11, 18) for attachment to a manoeuvring arrangement (19), which in turn comprises at least one elongated manoeuvring member (20, 21, 22), by means of which an operator can apply the device to the conductor from a position distant from the conductor.
