Abstract
The capacitor body (9) is impregnated with a curable resin and the termination (1) also includes an insulator body (10) pressed against the capacitor body by a spring fitting (11). A cable termination for a power cable (2) insulated with solid insulation material comprises a capacitor body surrounding the cable conductors (4), the body comprising alternate electrically insulating layers and conductive capacitor layers (14). The capacitor body is impregnated with a curable resin and the termination also includes an insulator body pressed against the capacitor body by a spring fitting.
