A first conveyor (1) transports the goods at right angles to it, and a second conveyor (2) transports the goods into separate positions corresponding to different goods categories. A transport device (5) in the second conveyor receives a number of goods corresponding to the number of category positions. The goods leave the second conveyor from a part (11) of the transport device that can be moved in a linear direction.
