Abstract

One of the two engageable parts (13) of the lock (10) for securing the stop bar (7) to the trailer contains a spring-loaded piston (18) received in a boring (17), operated by manoeuvering parts (24, 25) for moving it between two slit walls (15, 16). In the locking position the piston protrudes out of the slit and in the unlocked position it is pushed into the boring. The second part of the lock is a journal (12) which is positioned inside the slit in front of the piston in the locking position, and can pass in and out of the slot in the unlocked position. The stop bar is rotatably mounted in the trailer at one end, and its opposite end is securable to the trailer using a lock comprising cooperating parts in the bar and trailer.
