Abstract
The impulse device contains cylindrical-shaped impulse charge chambers (7) extending at right angles to the projectile length direction and open at the projectile periphery end. Impulse weights (8) are insertable into the chambers and have impulse caps which are closed at the projectile periphery end, but open at the opposite end. Propellent charges in the caps are connected to a detonator activated by command. The impulse weights can be fired out from the projectile upon command during flight in order to generate impulses used to correct projectile trajectory.
