Abstract

The leg consists of at least one outer and inner tube. The inner tube (12) encloses a motor-driven spindle (14) the bottom end of which protrudes through an opening into the base (4) of the frame. The trapezoid spindle is pref. triple threaded and can rotate clockwise. The motor (10) is connected to the shaft by a gear. The motor is fixed to a hollow profiled support (30) containing the shaft and or gear. The spindle has at least one guide-piece inside the support pipe.
