Abstract
A diffusor or nozzle comprises a cross section-wise endless wall (5), which widens from an inlet (6) for arriving fluid to an outlet (9) for outgoing fluid. At least a distance upstream the inlet (6), the wall (7) which is passed by the arriving fluid has a relief-like surface structure (10) constructed with projections and alternating countersinks, having the purpose of bringing about small turbulent movements of the component parts of the fluid which pass in the immediate vicinity of said wall (7) so as to counteract separation of fluid from the widening diffusor wall (5).
