Abstract

Hot condensation water formed during the drying process is not discharged to a drain, but instead at least some of the thermal energy is recovered from it by using some of the hot water to condition the wood inside the chamber, whilst the rest of the water is used to warm up the next batch of wood being dried in the chamber.
