Abstract

A container device for plants (12), an apparatus for packing plants and a method therefor, the container device having a substantially parallelepipedic form comprising a base (4) and four side walls (5-8) connected thereto, and a unit (11) having plate portions and being locatable in the container, the plate portions being connected to each other by fold indications and adjacent plate portions being foldable between a first condition, in which they are located substantially in a plane and a second condition, in which they make an angle with each other, preferably at least a perpendicular angle, the unit (11) being designed to form a substantially parallelepipedic form with the plate portions in the second condition, a base plate (14) of the unit having a length and a width substantially equal to or smaller than the corresponding free internal length and width of the base (4) of the container.
