Abstract

The transformer-inductor winding is composed of a high-voltage cable, comprising an electric conductor around which there is arranged a first semiconducting layer. Around the latter there is arranged an insulating layer and around the insulating layer there is arranged a second outer semiconducting layer. The second semiconducting layer is directly earthed at both ends of each winding (221,222) and at least one point between both ends is indirectly earthed. Preferably, the cable is manufactured with a conductor area of between 80 and 3000 square mm and with an outer cable diameter of between 20 and 250 mm. Preferably the direct earthing (36) is performed by means of galvanic connection to earth, and indirect earthing is performed by means of a capacitor (32) inserted between earth and the second semiconducting layer.
