Abstract

The retaining clip comprises a body forming a bottom casing (1) with a narrow curved seating shaped to receive a section of electrical cable (2). A closure element (3) is designed to fit over and retain the cable. The closure element is flat and of shape and size corresponding to the shape of the mouth of the bottom casing. The closure element is attached to the base along one edge (11) by a thin section of the same material as top and bottom parts. Along one edge of the top closure element with a catch (30,32) which is intended to engage a corresponding seating in the bottom casing, thus holding the two parts together and trapping the cable in position within its seating.
