Abstract

A machine for the preparation of pellets from fine particulate material comprises a feed device (11) for supplying the material to at least two rolls (9, 10) that form a press nip. A second device (12) separates the compacted material into individual pellets. An endless belt (13) travelling between the two rolls forms a press zone. The first roll (9) in the press zone is provided with circumferential direction grooves.
