Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter holder for a working machine, by which while the standard dimensions are kept, especially even in the case of working a material with a rim, it can be worked at further higher feed speed, and a further long life of a cutting element can be achieved. SOLUTION: A cutter holder comprises a shaft extended into a cavity where a machine is aligned and a clamp device for a cutting element, especially for a cutter made of hard metal, a tool tip or a spiral tool tip provided at the free end of the shaft. In the above cutter holder for a working machine, the shaft 2 is provided with a groove 8 faced laterally to the longitudinal extended part of the shaft and parallel to the axis of rotation of a workpiece 6 to be worked near the end part for holding the cutting element 4. The groove is extended over the whole width of the shaft, and ended open within the same plane as the side of the shaft 2 in the longitudinal end part thereof, and a spring elastic filling piece 9 of an elastomer is inserted in the groove 8. The filling piece is ended within the same plane as the side surface and the groove opening, or withdrawn in the rear thereof.
