Abstract

The foot plates (1, 2) are placed one behind the other so that the foot of the driver in its longitudinal direction can simultaneously wholly or partially cover them. They are separated by a stop rod (6) and rest on a support placed on the floor of the vehicle. The gas regulator is activated by the downward pressure on a foot plate (2) and the turning of the plates towards the floor of the vehicle. - The braking and gas regulating system is activated by impulses from an electronic emitter. Each brake plate is temporarily provided with a side plate. In equipping new vehicles, the stop rod is anchored in the vehicle bodywork. In existing vehicles, it is easy to make a frame on which the stop rod can be anchored.
