Abstract

Two anchoring plates (12) are located on opposite sides of the insulator (14) in the line or cable longitudinal direction and a component (16) is provided for connecting the anchoring plates to one another. At least one anchoring component fixes the line or cable to an anchoring plate. Separate anchoring components for the line or cable work in conjunction with each of the anchoring plates. The anchoring components consist of clamps, which partly enclose the line or cable and are fitted to the anchor plates by third screws. The parts of the anchoring plates against which the line or cable locates has a rough surface in order to improve friction between the anchoring plates and the line or cable. The components for guiding the line or cable relatively to the insulator comprise partly guide rollers (20), which are rotatably supported by the anchoring plates and partly stirrup components (24) which bridge over the line or cable and are fitted on the anchoring plates.
