Abstract
The invention relates to a drive means for the transport of a carriage (2) and the winding up of a hose (10) to a rest position in an extracting device, especially for the exhaust gases from motor vehicles (4), and of the type comprising an extraction channel (1) with a carriage (2) guided along the extraction channel, which, from a start position (3) and drawn by the vehicle via a line (5) or the like, is intended to run to an end position (6) along the extraction channel, a drive arrangement for the returning of the carriage from the end position to the start position, whereby, for the collection of exhaust gases during the transport of the carriage, the extraction channel on the underside has a slit (8) equipped with sealing flaps (7) through which a nozzle (9) of the carriage extends into the extraction channel and to which nozzle is connected a hose (10) intended to be connected to the exhaust pipe of the motor vehicle and, after being released from the exhaust pipe, be wound up to a rest position via the line (5). For extraction devices of this type, in which normally the carriage has suitable driving means and for which reason the extraction channel must be equipped with electrical rails for the power supply for the driving of the carriage and the winding up of the hose, a common drive unit for said functions in the form of an endless flexible element is suggested according to the invention, which via pulley wheels (15) is arranged to run in two directions between the start position (3) and the end position (6) of the carriage along the extraction channel and freely through the carriage (2), and arranged to move the carriage in at least one direction along the extraction channel and to also wind up the extraction hose (10) to a wound up rest position.
