Abstract

A closed conduit circuit (5) is provided between the batteries (1, 2) for circulation of a fluid medium between them. This circuit incorporates partly an input conduit (5c) from the output heat recovery battery to the input air heat recovery battery. A circulation pump (6) supports the circulation. A first source (9) for peak heat and a second source (11) for cold are arranged to provide heat and cold when required to the ventilation system. The input air heat recovery battery and the source for peak heat are arranged in the input air path in order to carry out heat exchange with the input air. The source for cold comprises a fluid/fluid heat exchanger connected to the input conduit (5c) of the conduit circuit (5) for supply of cold to the fluid medium. The heat exchanger is connectable to an external cold water source (13) for supply of cold water to it. The heat exchanger is provided with a regulating valve (12) which regulates the feed of cold water to it.
