Abstract
The present invention relates to an arrangement in a gas-filled spring (1) for scraping of a piston rod (2). The first end of the piston rod is connected to a piston (3) axially moveable in a cylinder (4), which piston is designed to be acted upon by a pressure in an internal space (4b) of the cylinder filled with a compressible gas/oil mixture. The second end of the piston rod extends out of the cylinder through an opening centred in a first end (4a) of the cylinder. A scraper element (5) is designed to prevent any impurities in the environment surrounding the gas-filled spring from passing into the cylinder (4) at the inward movement of the piston rod (2). The arrangement is characterised in that the opening surrounding the first end (4a) of the cylinder comprises an inner surface (4a1) corresponding to a surface of an essentially conforming section (5a) formed on the scraper element (5) and surrounding the piston rod (2), which section is positionally fixed in relation to the inner surface (4a1) and is composed of an elastic material which is designed to be deformed under the effect of the pressure in the internal space (4b) of the cylinder, the said section being designed to be applied against the piston rod (2).
