Abstract

The water tap has a cylindrical valve element (1) provided with flow control elements which is connected to an intake port (13) and discharge port (14) of the tap by a thread connection. An opening (4) underneath the valve element is connected to the intake port, an opening on the side of the valve (5) element is connected to the discharge port.The openings leading to the ports are sealed by gaskets (8,9). The threaded connection (3) is located between the openings on the side and the end of the valve element. The valve element is sealed against the tap on the side of one side opening (5), opposite the thread connection.
