Abstract

The device is for cleaning a lens glass (2) for a camera (9) for monitoring in traffic tunnels and involves a plastics film (5) which is displaceably arranged in front of the lens glass. After becoming dirty the film is replaceable by one which is clean by moving it a distance in front of the lens glass which at least corresponds to the glass dia. The dirty plastics film is rolled on to a collecting roller (7) and simultaneously a clean plastics film is unrolled from a storage roller (6).
