Abstract

Process for the fluidisation of a cellulosic fibrous pulp suspension whilst mixing with chemicals, gas or steam, by accelerating the suspension through a rotor unit comprising an inner cylindrical rotor cage (A) provided with fluidising bars, fully or partly surrounded by a coaxial, co-rotating, outer cylindrical rotor cage (B) also provided with fluidising bars, to break down the flock. The appts. for the process is also claimed.
