Abstract

The chain transporter, partic. for packing machines, has a location surface (17) for the transported objects, under which at least two endless roller chains are arranged at a distance from each other. The roller chains carry drivers (15, 16) which extend upwards through slots in the location surface to engage the object to be transported. The roller chain upper and lower parts are guided in chain guides between the chain end break rollers (19, 20). These chain guides are set in a U-shaped undercut track in profile beams (24). The profile beams for the upper and lower parts are connected to one another by distance components (24) displaceably fitted on guides (26) which extend across the chain transporter transport direction.
