Abstract

The long commencement timber component (1) has at least three plain surfaces extending in its longitudinal direction. The two first surfaces (2,3) are parallel to each other, and a second surface (4) connects to one of the first surfaces (2), which on cutting the commencement component from the log has a greater distance to the log longitudinal central plane than the other first surface, with which it encloses an angle of 135 deg. On the commencement timber component is applied a cut at right-angles to the second plain surface, sepg. a timber component, and setting this timber component together with a similar timber component with cutting surfaces turned outwards.
