Abstract

Filter device for an air conditioning system, esp. a kitchen extractor, comprises a coarse filter element for removing large particles, which has a lengthways-oriented, column-shaped channel extending from an inlet to an outlet by a path that changes direction, e.g. by means of a bend, at least one, followed by a fine filter element for removing small particles, having a shaped, lengthways-oriented filter section which can be removed from the support frame of the filter device. The invention is characterised by the fine filter element having at least one support frame beam in the lengthways direction which forms part of the first wall of the coarse filter element channel, the second wall being formed by a lengthways-extending mantle, partic. by the edge surface region of the mantle's longer sides, with the outlet for the coarse filter element channel and the inlet for the fine filter element being contained within the mantle.
