Abstract

Arrangement and method for the fitting of a wheel axle (2) on a vehicle body (7). A longitudinal control arm (3), which is arranged on the axle (2), is fixed on a first body part (9), on which a support part (21) is arranged. The support part (21) and a support area (27) arranged on a second body part (15) have adjusting elements (29) interacting with one another, which permit a reciprocal positional adjustment. After fixing of the longitudinal control arm (3), support part (21) and support area (27) are secured to one another by the adjusting elements (29), thereby preventing any relative movement. As a result the longitudinal control arm (3) obtains additional support by way of the support part (21) and the support area (27). <IMAGE>
