Abstract

The arrangement comprises a top fitting (1) and an open ring (2). The stay (3) and shroud (4) are fastened to the top fitting which is drawn over the rig mast top. - The stay and the shroud are fed downwards to the open ring, in the opening of which the sail slides, and are fastened into small rings (6) welded onto the open ring. The stay and shroud are then fed down further to the vessel and fastened so that the rig is stayed in the required upright position.
