Abstract
A shaft (6) extends through the body (1). The shaft is driven for rotation and/or oscillation by a motor at its end, so that a blade (8) fitted at the shaft other end, via a hand grip (10), is moved axially in relation to the body, imparting a rotation movement for carrying out the operative engagement. The shaft is electrically insulated from the body so that electrical current can be fed through the shaft to the blade to allow cutting and stop bleeding. - A safety switch is incorporated. The shaft-driving motor (9), which can be electric, pneumatic or hydraulic, is fitted in direct connection with the tubular body or connected with it by means of a flexible shaft. An electronic safety circuit stops the motor when bleeding occurs.
