Abstract

The coupling for the plastic tube (15) incorporates a nipple (12) insertable in the tube with external ring convolutions (14) and a clamp unit in the form of a lock ring (16) which is axially displaceable over the plastic tube on the nipple for clamping the material in the plastic tube. The thermic length expansion coefficient for the material in the lock ring (16) is greater than for the material in the nipple (12).
