Abstract

An apparatus for lifting and transporting mutually analogous and uniform objects comprises a chassis 10 having two wheels 101 on a common axle 102 and handle 103, and a lifting unit 11 which is manoeuvrable from the handle 103. The lifting unit comprises two grab arms 111,112 telescopically arranged for displacement towards and away from one end each of an elongated sleeve 115, the central part of which is mechanically fixed by a scissors coupling 116 to the chassis 10. <IMAGE>
